If you insist on burning the Flag of the United States. Please wrap your self in it first.

U.S.History:
On March 16, 1926 Dr. Robert H. Goddard launched the worlds first Liquid fueled rocket in Auburn Massachusetts.

—Francis Scott Key, 1814

O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Inscription at the Statue Of Liberty.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Earth and Enviroment

The Earth's atmosphere is composed mainly of nitrogen (77%), oxygen (21%), argon (.93%), and carbon dioxide (0.039%). The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been on the rise, now at about 370 PPM compared to about 320 PPM in 1970. Carbon Monoxide is down over 53% compared to 1970 levels. In the same time period sulfur dioxide levels fell 49%, nitrogen oxides are down 24%, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are down 54%, and ozone is also down by 12%. All of this improvement came despite a 176% increase in GDP, 42% more people, 95% more workers that use 45% more fuel, in 110% more cars, trucks, buses, being driven 150% more miles. The new auto engines now produce twice the power of engines 30 years ago while using less fuel and having the same displacement. Also during the same time period, lead has been on a fast decline down 99.9%. Of the 3132 counties in the 50 United States, only 3 didn’t meet lead standards in 2001, all 3 have lead smelting plants.
Particulates from combustion this includes cars, power plants and factories, down 84% since 1970. When it comes to ozone in 1980 only 5% of us breathed air that meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. That number is now over 70%.
Earth has an average surface temperature of 13° C (55.4° F). The planet would be much colder without the greenhouse gasses, water vapor (cloud cover/water vapor (H2O)), (CH4) methane gas and to a lesser extent Carbon dioxide to trap outgoing thermal (Solar) radiation. The greenhouse effect raises the planet's temperature 35° C (95° F). A article in the journal Nature showed a net cooling on the Antarctic continent between 1966 and 2000. More on could cover. Contrails: those clouds that form on the exhaust of aircraft. It has been determined that they cool the coverage area by about 5
°F. The study was conducted by the University of Wisconsin in the days after September 11, 2001. When all aircraft travel in the United States was grounded. With no contrails it was quite easy to determine the difference in temperature.
Long before the muscle cars, station wagons, my 2 stroke super bike (RZ 350) and S.U.V.'s roamed the planet, the Earth endured both significant warming and cooling trends and somehow survived those extremes. Once upon a time vineyards flourished in England and Scotland, but during the Middle Ages the climate was much warmer. It was a period of about 800 years, of a warmer climate than we have now. This was a study completed by Harvard University.
From our collected (Ice Cores, etc.) recorded data  over the last 25+ years CO2 (carbon dioxide) has increased from approximately 315 PPM in 1900 to over 380 PPM in 1999. The continued growth of carbon dioxide gas between 1940 and 1970 is in contradiction to the global warming hysteria, when during the same period we had subsequent leveling off of the temperature of the Earth. There was no measurable increase in the Earth’s temperature in the 50 years from 1935-1985. This after human activity has increased the level of CO2 in the atmosphere, that level has been on a steady rise since 1900. The average temperature of the planet has not been on a steady rise over the last 100 years.
It has warmed for about 35-40 years (1900-1940, then cooled off a bit over the next 40 years (1940-1980), then a short warm up from 1980 until 1996. Over the last 11 years the temperature has been on a slight decline. Until last year (2007)when it took a sharp dive, about 1
°F. This is not a steady cycle, it is not because of human activity. The actual temperature had decreased about 1°F in the last year. This is 100% because of solar activity. The 11 or so year solar cycle peaked several years ago and had been on a decline. About 2 years ago all sun spot activity ceased. Not until this January 2008 did that activity return. The most recent Solar Minimum was March of 2007, thus ending the last Solar Cycle. Generally Solar activity returns in a few short months. It has slowly begun. About 3 Sunspots have been observed so far this year. Each lasting only a few days max. If this trend continues for another year or two, it could be a sign of a new Solar Minimum. The last time a Solar Cycle was delayed this long it let to what is now known as the “Little Ice Age”.
Most reports, articles etc. that have been written on the subject of Global Warming  have left out the fact that the Earth is in orbit around a slowly warming fusion reactor known as the Sun. Minute changes in the output of that fusion reactor can and has caused drastic changes to our climate. During the mid 16th century through the mid 17th century there was no observable sun spot activity. It was the coldest period’s sense the last ice age. During this period the Thames River in London froze for the first time in recorded history. The Earth’s average temperature was 2.7 deg. cooler than it is now.

The Kyoto Treaty and The United States. It is possible to meet the treaty and never sign it. Build more nuclear power plants. Building enough nuclear power plants to match that of European Union (33.3%) would free up 15% of the fossil fuels used in the U.S. Note if the United States did not use Nuclear Power between 1995-2003 generating electrical power by other means would have produced 6 billion tons of additional carbon dioxide, 34.3 million tons of sulfur dioxide, and 14.8 million tons of nitrogen oxides. The last time I checked nobody got sick or died at 3 Mile Island. It is estimated that is the United States ratified the Kyoto Treaty the cost to the country would be as much as $2700.00 per household per year. The Clinton Administration put the bill between $225,000,000,000.00 and $400,000,000,000.00. With possible job losses between 1 million and 5 million. Not acceptable figures for logical people.

Human induced global warming? Just is not possible.

This site is built on the American Free Market (capitalism). We practice Constitutional values. Our Government is a Democratic based Republic NOT a Democracy. The government of this nation is given very limited powers, what we need to do to preserve this nation, grow the economy of this nation and continue OUR prosperity, is to reign in the power of the Federal Government. It is empowered by US and governed by US, we are not governed by those who we elect. It seams to me that the Congress has grown well beyond the scope of the Constitution. It also seams to me that the Judicial branch of government has become “Activist” empowering it self to change laws on behalf of those that wish to have more government control, higher taxes and/or special “rights” for a select few individuals. We the People: now for some it is the job of the government. For those are the supporters of Obama and Clinton. For those two individuals are not supporters of We The People, but fell that Government is the answer to our Individual and National problems. Actually the problem is the Government, the Government has NEVER solved any problem period. Government only exasperates the problem it has, or is attempting to solve. - - T.W.

May God Bless America.
